As the warmer months are approaching and the colder weather is quickly coming to an end, I have recently found myself totally crushing on embroidered jeans. This trend makes for some great transition pieces, helping us to continue to wear our denim pants well into the Spring! Whether the embroidery is done to resemble bright flowers or with colourful patches, this easy to wear style is surely something that every fashionista should be seen sporting this upcoming season!

Yan Yu – High Rise Vintage Jeans

It’s time to wave goodbye to anxiety-ridden shopping trips because these high-rise vintage jeans flatter most shapes. They give the illusion of slimming the waist, lengthening legs and accentuating the derriere all at once. Match the jeans with a bomber jacket and black booties to show a casual look for spring 2017.

Meaghan Dorion – Denim Jumpsuits

I’ve been on the jumpsuit train for a while now.  They’re flattering (especially on shorter girls like me), and appeal to my affection for most things 70’s. There are so many options out there right now, but I’m crushing on denim in a hard way and this slouchy style with a tucked in waist pairs so well with heels or sneakers.

Louise Shih – Black White Pleated Skirt

Black and white have always been my favourite color mix and one you can never go wrong with. Winter is gradually fading away and spring is coming in and this black and white pleated skirt fits in with the season just like a lively piano keyboard playing a spring symphony. It’s made with high-twisted fabric to avoid wrinkles, and with a chiffon lining that helps keep you warm when the weather turns chilly.

Gabi Segal – Instagram Stories

When Instagram Stories launched in the latter half of 2016 I must admit I was pretty skeptical. I didn’t really understand what this feature could add to the Instagram experience, given that there was already another social platform dedicated to the idea. But (there’s always a but), I have absolutely been addicted to Instagram stories as of late. I feel like they added a personal element to a lot of the more intimidating people on Instagram and allow a greater breadth of content. Apparently the more story the merrier!

Shararah Shahreen – Missoni Eau de Toilette

I’m all about my perfumes. Since I was little I have always thought it carried a person’s character forward. Last year my sister got me Missoni Eau de Toilette for my birthday and it’s definitely a very “me” fragrance that I am currently still very much in love with. In light of my love for perfume, I’m going to stop myself here and quote Mademoiselle Chanel in her truer-than-true saying:

“No elegance is possible without perfume. It is unseen, unforgettable, ultimate accessory”

Kendra Fillingham – Hot for Food

With spring coming everyone is starting to worry about the beach bod. Cooking at home compared to eating out is a great way to stay healthy but can be hard for some. I have been obsessed lately with Hot For Food, a blog and YouTube channel, that uses regular meal ideas and transforms them into vegan friendly options. Most people are not vegan (neither am I), but it’s a great way to learn about alternative ways to eat your favorite meals without all the calories. The best thing I have learned is how many ways cauliflower can be used!
