Harshita is 22-year old Fashion design student from Pune, India. I love her sense of style and the way she carries herself with so much elegance and poise.
What is your personal style?:
“I love to experiment. I may be classy and gorgeous one day or bordering on the eccentric the next day. Dressing up gives me immense confidence.”
What inspires you?:
“I am a fashion lover and I get inspired by everything around whether it be architecture, art, music, billboards etc. My love towards vintage fashion is always reflected in my outfits. I am passionate about traveling and love to collect local fashion to add to my wardrobe for classic signature looks.”
Describe this look:
“I created this look because I was so inspired by the “Rosie the Riveter” socks that I had purchased. I absolutely fell in love with the retro vibe represented by the colours so I decided to complete the look with a solid mustard dress with vintage buttons and classic denim. To enhance the look, I added the tinted sunglasses.”
What are your views on current fashion trends?:
“There is no doubt that fashion keeps changing. What I personally believe and feel is to not follow trends blindly. Instead, follow what suits your personality.”
Have you ever had a day where you were not fully satisfied with your outfit or look?:
“Interesting question, to be quite honest. I like to plan my outfits according to the schedule of my day. I believe we all have bad days, days where we are not fully confident in our bodies, I easily mask that with a positive attitude and the right sunglasses.”
One thing in your wardrobe that makes you feel awesome?
“I have a lot of maxi dresses, skirts and short dresses which I love flaunting. I also love collecting belts, shoes, sunglasses and bags.”
One style obsession?
“I am obsessed with sunglasses, they just transform the whole look.”
