Hey everyone, for the profile this week, I would like to present Hsu-Tien Lee. She is a 25-year-old born in Taiwan and is now studying Fashion Management. She has two years of work experience in the textile industry and just recently moved to Canada in August 2018.
Why Canada? English speaking, friendly people, open policies for foreigners.
Funniest memory of childhood? I dreamed that my dad told me to wait for him after school when I was 8 years old, and I thought it was true. I waited for him at the front door the next day and my sister couldn’t find me at home. She called my mom and both of them were in the panic, thinking that I might be in trouble. I went home about one hour later since my dad didn’t come (of course…). I saw that my sister was running outside of the apartment trying to find me when I walked back. We both cried a lot and walked home together. And this joke has been told more than 10 years later…
Why Humber? This program- The Fashion Management and Promotions Post Grad.
Why fashion? My passion and interest. I love beautiful and creative things.
Who would you take with you to space? My boyfriend.
Which celebrities do you believe are the most influential? Lady Gaga, Chiara Ferragni, Jolin Tsai.
Person with whom you can stay in house for one month without going out? My boyfriend.
On what do you spend the most: clothes, accessories, perfumes, undergarments, or anything else? Clothes, books, travel.
Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes, but not me. I’m hard to fall in love with someone I don’t know.
Where do you think you will be after 25 years? Happy with lovely family and successful business in Taiwan.
What is your greatest strength and weakness? Strength: easygoing and outgoing. Weakness: impulse.
What type of music do you listen to? Slow rock, indie, country music.
What cheers you up? Drama, movie, music, novel, hang out with family/boyfriend/friends.
Which is your favorite book? Love Walked In.
What do you think Victoria’s Secret is? Sexy and mysterious women.
Describe yourself in 2 words: Fashion and freedom lover.
Your dream vacation? Travel whole world with my loves a year. Chill and enjoy every single moment.
Best vacation? Travel with my mom to Turkey, Spain, south France without any plan. We only planed for next day.
What’s fashion for you? Unique designs which could show the personalities.
Wine or coffee? Coffee before 4 pm and wine after 8 pm.
Makeup or food? Food! Especially Taiwanese food!
Drive or walk? Walk, I could observe every detail and interesting things on the street.
Book or game? Book, I love to imagine.
Historic or futurist? Historic, I’m not a technology person at all.
Heels or flats? Flats, I prefer comfortable and I’m easy to fall with heels even they are beautiful.
