Hola! I’m Megha, a 23-year-old Indian fashionista who moved to Canada two years ago. My outlook on life is to take each day one at a time while wearing a fabulous outfit. One of my favourite brands is Chanel and it often provides a source of inspiration for me. If only I could “Chanel” my instagram likes to cash, perhaps I could afford one of their designs! I’ll be covering fashionable topics at Humber campus this spring and bringing all my expertise to you.
Hi! I’m Camila, a 29-year-old Brazilian born into an Italian family. I love art, music, poetry, and all things that are beautiful. I also love to read – give me a good book and a cup of hot coffee, and I’ll be happy! Fashion was always a part of who I am and what I do. I’ve worked within the industry in different roles, which gave me a broad and unique perspective of the business. I left my last job in Brazil as a Fashion Buyer when I decided to immigrate to Canada with my husband. So, here I am, on my third post-graduate program, enjoying the cold weather in Canada, and happy to be exactly where I am now!
Hi, I’m Devadharshini! I love music, art, and travelling. My passion for travel inspired me to cross the sea to Canada and yes, here I am exploring my first winter! I love nature and enjoy sitting by a window with a cup of tea on rainy days. I am passionate about design, colors, and the different aesthetics of fabrications, which has led me to pursue a career in the fashion industry. I have a background in costume design and I am currently completing a postgraduate program in Fashion Management and Promotions, where I am able to express my creativity and do what I love.
Hi! I am Ecaterina, an inspired adventure-seeker who recently moved from Europe to Canada. I find inspiration in art and specifically love drawing. Through sketching, my creations are able to then be brought to life through sewing. Being able to express myself in this way and share my passion with everyone is very important to me. I love to design trendy and stylish garments using the skills I obtained after completing a Fashion Design degree in India. I love to travel to new and different places, so here I am in Canada, where I enjoy making new friends. I chose to enroll in the Fashion Management and Promotions postgraduate program at Humber in order to pursue my passion for fashion and learn more about fashion business!
Hello! I am Sukhchainpreet Kaur, a 24-year-old who has always been interested in fashion. Due to my Indian ethnicity, I have always been fascinated by vibrant colours and their rich cultural heritage. After graduating with a degree in fashion design, I wanted to be able to explore new cultures and different perspectives. This is why I decided to move to Canada and join Humber College to continue to strengthen my knowledge in fashion.
Hello ! I am Oshin, a 25-year-old fashion designer and actress from India. I love art, music, travelling, and acting. I completed my acting degree from Anupam kher’s Actor prepares in Mumbai, where I’ve gone on to act in over forty music video and star in three films. Fashion makes me happy and I enjoy experimenting with my looks and outfits. I did my undergraduate degree in fashion design and I am currently doing a postgraduate program in Fashion Management and Promotions. I strongly believe that fashion is something you can buy, but style is something you possess. Your personal style and persona define you.
