Get a sneak peek into my life as a student of Humber College on a typical Monday.
10:00 AM
My day starts with checking my phone, and after a hundred yawns later I get out of my bed. Now it’s time to head into the shower.
Class starts around at 1:00 so this gives me time to prep for class, and also the late class timing works great for me because it gives me a lot of time in the morning to do my routine. When you are not really a morning person this works great!
With a quick breakfast a.k.a coffee, I do my makeup for the day.
11:00 AM
At this time of the day I usually like watching YouTube or go on social media, or answer any important emails. When watching my favourite shows I like to have a quick snack before I head out for my day.
12:00 PM
I grab my lunch usually around campus since we have some great options to eat. I meet with my friends and discuss our plans for the week and soon I head out for class.
1:00 PM
As my class begins, our professor shares the overall progress of our site and further continues with her session. We also have groups present on social media platforms such as Instagram, Pinterest etc.
4:00 PM
After my classes I have a spare hour which I like spending close to nature. We have some great spots around campus where I like to go to relax and destress. I enjoy going to the lake as it’s calming and fresh out there, free from all the hustle and bustle. I also like to walk around the lake, listen to my playlists and just relax and unwind!
7:00 PM
Dinner time! I love to cook dinner – it’s so therapeutic for me. With my dinner I like to have a cup of green tea.
8:00 PM
I like to be well prepared for my next day so I generally plan my outfits the day before. Also I like finishing up any pending work for my class. This time of the day I generally do any work that’s to be completed for coming days.
10:00 PM
Mondays for me are somewhat similar. Many times I usually won’t go to bed this early but getting those extra hours of sleep helps me wake up fresh in the morning. Now time to hit the sheets!
