To celebrate International Women’s Day, we attended IGNITE’s Real Talks
event featuring Sophia Bush, actress, activist and entrepreneur, and Iskra
Lawrence, international model, actress, and body positive ambassador. Both
were truly inspiring with messages about empowerment, confidence,
equality, and courage. This event was geared to the Humber College and
University of Guelph-Humber student community. Everyone welcomed with
this year’s theme, “Strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May
we raise them”.
