When I heard that Sophia Bush and Iskra Lawrence were coming to IGNITE’s Real Talks for International Women’s Day, I immediately thought that this was a great subject to cover and an event that I would definitely want to take part of. Luckily, I had a good connection, which helped me land the position of stylist and personal assistant to Real Talk’s’ host and IGNITE President, Maja Jocson (also, she happens to be my younger sister!). I must say this was a win-win situation for me- learning from inspirational women like Sophia and Iskra, landing a fulfilling role and seeing a woman, close to my heart, shine and be part of a great cause!

- Maja’s outfit: blazer from Uniqlo, denim jeans from American Eagle and shoes from Johnston and Murphy
Maja wanted me to dress her black IGNITE “Strong women” t-shirt with something professional, yet still casual and comfortable. To fit her needs, I’ve paired her t-shirt with medium-washed, high-waisted denim jeans and topped it off with a grey blazer (sleeves-rolled-up for that more easy-going look). For her shoes, I’ve picked a black, gleaming patent leather pair of oxfords, instead of a pair of heels, to help her stay comfortable. Not only does this go well with her shirt, but it also gives her style a bit of pop!
